Lost In The Night announce a string of February tour dates and the release of their new single ‘Pencils’ via Marmol Music Group on 17th February 2014.

Based in north London, Lost In The Night are a five-piece alternative rock band. Mixing elements of jangly sixties songwriting with the influence of more recent New York garage groups, they create timeless guitar-driven music. LITN released their self-titled debut EP in September, picking up support from Phil and Alice and Jen Long at BBC Radio 1. Back in April, their single ‘Dead or Alive’ received national airplay from multiple DJs at BBC Radio 1, including Huw Stephens who made the track a BBC Introducing Discovery in June 2013. Early performances supporting The Killers at The Forum in June and a series of opening slots in October serve as a statement of their similarly lofty live ambitions.

Lost In The Night will kick off their UK Tour in Leeds on 7th February 2014, while their new single ‘Pencils’ will hit stores on 17th February 2014 via Marmol Music Group.

There are several points in the 22 year timeline of Katie Collins that you might attribute to her metamorphosing into NANCY, future music artist. The first was when she used to dress up as a witch as a child, stand at the end of her driveway staring at passers-by in a long black dress. The last was when she was in Berlin for a writing session for her debut album. Brighton born NANCY’s song writing inspiration began to chime to a new, ethereal beat.

Marmol Music Group proudly presents NANCY’s debut EP ‘We Own The Sky’ set to be released on 20th December 2013. The two tracks – ‘We Own The Sky’ and ‘Sunny Days are Coming’ – showcase NANCY’s incredible, soulful voice. All the songs were co-written by her and demonstrate that she’s also a very gifted songwriter.

NANCY first came to people’s attention as one of the finalists on The Voice in 2011 and there was public outrage when she was eliminated from the show. Despite being offered several major label deals after the show NANCY decided to forge her own path, follow her heart, focus on crafting her art and taking time to make the music she felt truly represented her. ‘We Own The Sky’ is the result of that labour of love.

NANCY is a classically trained pianist and started singing and performing at the tender age of fifteen. She is also a prolific songwriter and has written for some of the biggest names in pop including Rita Ora, Jessie J and JLS.

Friday December 20th sees the release of NANCY’s E.P via MMG, which includes the track “We Own The Sky”.
